Autumn is a crucial time for animal heath especially with the welcome rainfall across some of our state. Recent rains and warm temperatures having given our worms a boost in ideal climatic conditions causing problems for many producers. Producers getting ready for autumn lambing will also have much to consider.

AWI Extension NSW has invited Dr Tim Gole to join us to cover off on the important aspects of animal heath this season. Sheep health is Tim’s area so join as we explore some of the following issues and much more.

  • The problem of summer worms holding on into autumn and heavily contaminating pastures.
  • How to act now to reduce the risk of worms for next year- the colder months will be your help here.
  • Winter worms are getting ready for their time to shine.
  • Autumn lambers will be starting to think about best lamb marking practices.

We look forward to you joining us for what will be an informative overview, along with some excellent signposts to tools that you can use to help make your decision making easier. There will be ample time for questions, so we encourage you to ask.

Can’t make it? We’ll be recording the webinar and will make it available for viewing on our website after the webinar!  We’ll also send you a copy of the recording the day after the webinar concludes.

See you there!
